Giving for Gizmo – PDSA PetAid Hospital Blackpool

So in the early hours of Tuesday 5th May, my cat Gizmo was involved in a RTA and sustained a broken pelvis. He was taken to the PDSA Pet Aid Hospital in Blackpool where they provided emergancy treatment, kept him overnight and paid all the costs involved in his care. They are continuing to pay for and provide ongoing care/treatment untill he has recovered. All they asked for in return was a donation.I have since found out that the Blackpool PDSA Pet Aid Hospital currently receives the 3rd lowest amount of donations in the UK and is in danger of being closed down. I wanted to start a campaign both in order to raise funds for this amazing charity which provide a vital service, but also because it is the least i can do in order to show my gratitude for everything they have done for Gizmo and the many, many other animals they have cared for. Gizmo is just one cat, his treatment so far has cost them £375. If there had been any complications then the cost was likely to be closer to be aprox £2,000. A vet there told me (and I personally witnessed) many people don't even donate £1. I know many of my friends and family have said they would like to donate something. Please give whatever you can. I know even £1 would go a long way towards them being able to provide care for more animals who may need vital, lifesaving treatment.
