Giving Aqif a Fighting Chance

Tell us more about you and why you are doing this?

Our dearly loved Aqif is currently on life support fighting for his life. He has been in a coma since September 18th after he was found unconscious at home. It is uncertain as to whether he had harm himself.

For those who know Aqif, they will know that his life is full of promise and he has lots of potentials. He is in SAF, awaiting ORD in April of 2019. He had many plans ahead for his future, after the completion of his national service.

Aqif has touched the lives of many others around him. He has a compassionate nature, full of empathy, and is always willing to help others. He is very vocal and expressive, and is a fighter who does not easily give up.

How will the fund be used?

The doctors in Singapore had recommended for him to be removed from his life support. Despite this. his family did not give up on him but evacuated him to KL Gleneagles Hospital for brain stem cell treatment, as this is the only treatment that could help. It is unfortunate that this treatment is not made available in Singapore.

We appeal for your kind assistance to help with this high treatment costs as it will run into hundreds of thousands, and this is his only chance of survival.
