Hello There,

First, a small idea of the two of us:

We are Anna and Alex, we have been together for more than 5 years.I study Kommunikationsiformatik and I'm done in a year, Anna is training as an office clerk and is also finished in a year.If we have time and money we like to travel around and try to help animals of any kind.We have also have a little mixed race, her name is Khalisi. She comes from a killing station in Andalusia and now lives happily together with us.

2 years ago we were for the first time in Thailand on Koh Samui and have helped out there in the only animal shelter. On Koh Samui there are a lot of wild dogs and unfortunately only one shelter which cares for the sick and injured dogs. Unfortunately this is why many dogs die nor to minor injuries because they igniteIt breaks our heart when we see the injured dogs with their infected wounds and we can`t help them all! Many make it not because they are too badly injured.

Now we go back this summer to Koh Samui and have jointly decided that we want to adopt a dog and take him to Germany for a better life. Unfortunately, it is very expensive to get a dog from Koh Samui to Germany and we both do not earn enough that we can afford this on our own.

That's why we signed up here and hope that there might be a few animal / dog lovers who want to help us to make a dog a better living. If it should work, we will of course keep the page up to date with pictures.

We are happy to assist you with information if you want to adopt a dog from Thailand to Europe.

Now for the facts and costs:

It hast o bee at least 7 months old so he is entitled to travel in Germany.

Cost of rabies vaccination $90.

The antibody test can be made until 30 days after vaccination.

Costs for rabies antibody test approximately $90. If everything is in order, the dog must remain at the shelter for at least 3 months.

Cost for the microchip $35.

Cost for 4 months stay at the shelter in Koh Samui $180.

Cost of transport from Koh Samui to Bangkok $80.

Costs for the helper in Bangkok and final examination by a veterinarian about $120.

A dog cage for the transport costs approximately $220.

Costs for transport to Germany with Lufthansa $330 (cheapest airline for transport of animals).

Blood test in Germany about $90.

Total $1895.

That only cost the planned and we hope that it will not be more expensive. That's a lot of money and we are already working hard on saving! We are truly grateful for all your support! Every dollar brings us closer to our goal to give a dog a better life in Germany :)
