Give what you can to help Loris Lawrence live long

Loris Lawrence, age 68 has been a member of the Tent City Seventh-day Adventist Church for the past 20 years. She has served the church well in the capacity as Deaconess, Adventist Community Services team member and Caretaker. Unfortunately, she has a heart condition and this contributed to her early retirement.

Since 2014 her heart condition has been deteriorating and this has been compounded by a failing kidney. She has been hospitalized on a number of occasions at the University of the West Indies, the Spanish Town Hospital and the Heart Institute of the Caribbean. Additionally, since 2014 she has suffered a number of heart attacks and these contributed to her being hospitalized at the institutions aforementioned.

As a single unemployed female, Sis. Lawrence is in dire need of financial assistance to take care of her regular medical expenses, food and shelter. She is assisted by family members and very close friends. The church has provided assistance as often as it can but unfortunately with the many needs from members and community persons, (especially as a result of the COVID-19 crisis), the church is not able to assist her with all needs.

Recently, after another mild heart attack, the Heart Institute has indicated that she needs to have the following procedures done urgently:

• Angiogram
• Vascular Profile
• Angioplasty

Any assistance that can be received on behalf of Sis. Loris Lawrence would be greatly appreciated.
