Give to the poor

Heavenly city child care for Uganda is an organization based in the Pearl of Africa.

We started off as a collaborating duo (a Ugandan and an American)

wanting to create change for a community that has desire for it. From

the beginning our main focus has been listening to what communities want

and need. Looking at how can we help in a way that doesn’t gentrify and

westernize them even further. We are not missionaries. We are not

saviors. We help unconditionally. We support and encourage diversity and

traditions. And we never tell them what they should or should not do.

We don’t see borders that were created by greed. We see the opportunity

to do something that we believe every human should do if they have the

ability to.

We are currently in the process of building a home

that will provide basic necessities to children, and community members,

in need. We have been able to complete much of the construction, but we

need to make one final push to have our home complete! What’s left:

finishing the roof, windows, doors, plaster, wiring and paint. We have

made this page in hopes that we will be able to do just that. We’re

reaching out for support from people that want to be apart of change.
