The number of children in the Montana foster system is at crisis level. Currently, over 3,450 children have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect and are in need of out-of-home care. Child Bridge finds and equips foster and adoptive families to care for children in need.
Children who have been abused or neglected need a safe haven, whether it is temporary or permanent. With too few families to care for these children, they may be removed from familiar surroundings, and often bounce from place to place. Far too many children are languishing in the Montana foster care system without permanent families to care for them.
While the problem is large and complex, the solution doesn’t have to be. The responsibility to make a change in a child’s life and child welfare as a whole can be local and simple… Child Bridge bridges the gaps between churches, community and government to improve outcomes for children and families.
Your support offers opportunities of hope and healing to a child who has been removed from their family for their safety. Thank you for joining us in this work that truly changes lives.
