Give the young Egyptian mother’s heart a chance

I am helping the wife of an Egyptian friend to raise medical expenses. She is in her 20s.

She started to have chest pain a long time ago. In order not to let her family worry, she has been enduring the pain without telling anyone. Until recently, she went to the hospital for examination. It was found that there was cardiovascular obstruction and the doctor suggested surgery as soon as possible.

However, in Egypt, going to the hospital is a luxury for the ordinary people. The average person can't afford it. My friend's monthly salary is $122 USD, and the surgery costs $7,300 USD.

My friend has a son of 6 and 3 years old. He had told me that he might have to keep his son from starting school because he needed medical expenses. Upon my questioning, the entrance fee for school is only $177 USD. I told him not to delay his son’s education. The entrance fee would not help.

I know very well that if I can raise enough money for her surgery, the result is completely in the hands of God. Even if she can afford to have enough medical expenses, it is under H is authority.

1 John 3:17-18 says: " But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth."

我正在幫一位埃及的朋友的太太籌措醫療費用。她才20幾歲。
她胸口悶痛已經很久，為了不讓家人擔心一直忍到最近，才去醫院檢查，結果發現有心血管阻塞，醫生建議要盡快開刀。但是，

在埃及，上醫院對一般人民而言，簡直是種奢侈，一般人是付不起的。我的朋友的月薪是埃及幣2000磅，合台幣3792元，而手術費要1200,000埃幣，將近台幣23萬。

在埃及，無法負擔醫療費的，就是等著死。這朋友有一個6歲及3歲的兒子。他本來告訴我可能要讓兒子延後入學，因為需要醫療費。一問之下，入學費也只不過是台幣4000元，我叫他不要耽擱兒子的教育，那4000元根本也幫不上甚麼忙。

我想著，比方在美國買部二手車，等於可以救一條人命，讓這朋友不會這麼早喪妻，男孩也來會有媽媽，心裡就很痛。

我也很清楚，若能募足款項讓她接受手術，結果如何完全在上帝手中。甚至，她是否能撐到有了足夠的醫療費，也在祂的掌權下。

約翰一書3:17-18說:【凡有世上財物的，看見弟兄窮乏，卻塞住憐恤的心，愛神的心怎能存在他裡面呢？小子們哪，我們相愛，不要只在言語和舌頭上，總要在行為和誠實上。】
