  • I am Obie Capisonda, 46 years old, married, father of 5 siblings and a resident of Las Piñas City. I made this donation campaign to ask for your help for my grandson Loukas Azrael Capisonda’s hospitalization. Loukas is a 7 months old baby boy born to a 16 year old mother, my only daughter and the child being fully abandoned by his father. Last Nov. 28, 2017, we rushed Loukas to PGH due to jaundice and vomiting. We are not admitted due to lack of vacancy and the doctor said that the baby is still active and was advised to just have the baby hydrated come back the following day to the Out-patient Department. The following day Nov. 29 the child’s condition seems to be worsening despite hydration and we won’t make it to PGH, thus we brought him to a Pediatrician in Perpetual Help. After thorough check-up we were advised to bring him to the Emergency Room for admission since the baby is fully dehydrated and further delay would have him admitted to NICU. Medical management was immediately done and corresponding laboratories was made and was subsequently diagnosed G6PD Hyperbilirubinemia and Urosepsis in acute Hemolytic crisis where he had also developed Pneumonia and was later on required to have a blood transfusion due to his red blood cells continuously going down and was needed to be transferred to a private room as his immune system is way below normal and also to comply with the hospital’s protocol. Medical management went on and two kinds of antibiotics were administered to him. Thank God that his body had responded to the antibiotic and his laboratory results are now close to normal. Loukas was already discharged last Dec 28, 2017 however, hospitalization cost had blown up to Php 291,559.16 and we don’t have this amount of money as my wife is the only one working for the family due to my heart condition (Dilated Cardiomyopathy conjunctive to heart failure). The guaranteed letter from PCSO amounting to Php 60,000.00 Thousand had reduced the bill and the latest bill is now around Php 208,670.73. As of this writing the child is still in the hospital as we need to raise 25% of the total bill and daily charges is incurring. As of now, we are doing everything to raise the money and have him released from the hospital. Please help Loukas and our family. We thank you in advance for any support that you could extend to this child.
  • We can't thank you enough for your unwavering support. Every amount and facebook share really counts.
