Campaign Story
Khalid was a normal guy growing up and getting a job to support himself until he is diagnosed with Schizophrenia and Hypertension. Currently living with ailing mother with diabetes and hypertension & dad having not fully recovered from a stroke and have speech impaired. Due to his diagnosis, Khalid had to retire early from his previous job in a national valuation institute as technical administrative assistance. While looking after both of his parents he also has to lookup for himself.
So Currently, Khalid has kickstarted a new business in proving care and companionship for the elderly and those in need, especially under the current movement controlled pandemic COVID-19 environment. He would need an initial fund of $10,000 for him to get his CAPEX in setup for buying a second-hand motorbike, wheel-chairs, and a van. Plus also support his OPEX in form of rentals, utilities, petrol, and insurance.
Among the services that he offered to the elderly in his neighborhood and hometown not limited but includes:-
i) Provide shopping and delivery for groceries, wet-market, supermarket, and convenient store
ii) Provide purchasing and delivery for food items from stalls, food store, or shop
iii) Provide purchasing and delivery for medicines and supplies from pharmacy and drug store
iv) Provide full companion and transportation for appointments/visits to clinics, hospitals, doctors, or medicine man
v) Provide companion and transportation to relatives house or location
v) Provide laundry support services
vi) Provide any light duties requested by the elderly
Khalid lives in small-town Tg Ipoh closed to Kuala Pilah where the were no such services equivalent to Grab, FoodPanda, or any type of personalized services available.
Currently, his services were only in his neighborhood and closed acquaintence. He keen to offer and expand it to the adjacent neighberhood and hired few more personnel or assistance.
