Give us hope, save a life!

You will probably think that this is yet another cry for help, out of many, and yes, it is, it is so unfortunate how many people need help to fight their battle in life. They can’t do it alone but when we all come together it makes all the difference in the world! I never thought I’d be one of them and I never thought I’d be asking for help but here I am..

In 2013 my mother, Stefana Katerinska-Koustourkova, was diagnosed with cervical cancer, as you can imagine this was devastating for the whole family and has been a very difficult time for all of us ever since.

She had a surgery to the malignant area which was supposed to have removed the cancerous cells, however in 2016 she was admitted in hospital again due to recurrence of the disease. Following another 2 operations, complications arose, and she was sent home to recover, after which another 2 operations followed in February and November 2017 due to recurrence of the disease in the small pelvis.

We have now found a specialist in Turkey and have been given positive feedback and a fresh breath of hope!

Stefana is currently in the Turkish hospil, Liv, and has now undergone a very long and complicated operation which thankfully has been successful, she now urgently needs to start her therapy treatmeant which is called Brachytherapy, but of course it all comes with a price, we have managed to get this far but it is impossible for us to fund the full cost and we must act quickly! The whole treatment cost €32,000 and we are currently €18,000 short. If we do not manage to raise the funds in time, they will not proceed with the treatment which she urgently needs in order to recover.

My mother has been going through a lot, but she is fighting and staying strong, she wants to beat it, but she can’t do it alone, please help us raise the money for this lifechanging treatment she needs! I know it is a lot to ask for, but anything you could donate, every penny will help, and it will be much appreciated!

Stefana is 61 years old, she is a wife, a mother, a sister and recently became a grandmother too, she wants to see her granddaughter grow up and enjoy every moment she can with her family.
