Give Goldie the gift of sight

Goldie is a 10 year old terrier mix that is part of the One Last Treat "Vet Friend at the End" program, which places senior dogs with veterans so the veteran can provide a loving home for the animal's last years. Goldie is a senior, but a relatively young senior. She suffers from diabetes and as a result is completely blind. One Last Treat will take care of this gal for the rest of her days medically and we hope to soon find a veteran to take her in their home and give her a good end of life, but in the mean time we we feel there is more that we can do for little Goldie. Like we said she is a relatively young senior and there is a good chance she will live 4-5 more years! We would love to make those years the best they can be and give her the gift of sight! So the Treat Team is asking for support in completing our mission. Please help Goldie see again! We have had our initial consult and goldie is cleared to go for surgery!!
