Make Dian smile

Our Sister Dian go hit badly by a drunk driver in Bali. She is a young beautiful 22 years old girl.

The stupid drunk driver is a poor man. He has nothing and cannot answer for what he did.

Life is so fragile and holds to a thin string.... Bad events are here to remind us to always be thankful for what we have...We run a small family restaurant in Bali and we have no choice but to do this fundraising. We must try everything to repair our sister's smile!

• 23 of august 2019, day of the accident. Multiple fractures of the jaw, and check bone. The Facial damages are big bug nothing that cannot be repaired. Her brain is untouched. Her eyes and nerves are ok. We have hope.

• 03 september 2019 Dian got the first 8 hours surgery to repair the jaw and cheek bones. They have installed the Erich arch bars to keep her jaw from moving. They fixed all the bones with metal plates but 8 teeth could not be replaced and are gone forever. The total cost for the surgery and medical car was 13.000 USD. It has been covered by the insurance, a first donation campaign and our family savings.

• 09 september 2019, Dian is home. Commencing a 6 month recovery. Eating and drinking from a straw. Her jaw will stay locked for the whole recovery.

The next step will be to rebuild her smile...

Dian is now missing 8 teeth on the right side of her mouth and the insurance does not cover the dental care.

This fundraising has the goal to buy her new teeth so that she can smile again!

The cost of the dental care until her smile is back is around 6.800 USD
