Jonathan and I (Jessica) have been together for almost seven years. We have been through every type of live event together and are a strong couple. When I was 12 I was diagnosed with endometriosis, at that time I did not know how this diagnosis would impact my life. After having surgery when I was 17 to remove the endometriosis and a cyst the size of a sweet potato that also killed most of my right ovary (which had to be removed) my fate to have children was no longer in my hands. Eventually, Jonathan and I wanted to have children. At first I was going to have surgery to once again remove the endometriosis, but the fertility specialist said it would be a waste of time, so we turned to IVF. Luckily, at the time I was still in college and covered by my Mother (who had the best health insurance ever). Her insurance actually covered our IVF 100%. It was a true blessing from God. We transferred two embryos but only one took. On August 2nd, 2012 our beautiful baby girl was born. She is so full of life, caring, and smart. We want so badly to give her a sibling to grow up with and have as a life long buddy. We have one frozen embryo left we would like to transfer soon. However, I have been unemployed since our daughter was born and we just do not have the extra funds right now. I'm hoping since I just graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice work will come my way soon. We do not want to wait too much longer to do the transfer as my endometriosis is continually attacking my organs and we do not know how much longer my uterus will be in working condition.
Anything you could donate to give us a chance at having another child would make us grateful beyond words. Please help our dreams come true and help us complete our family. <3
