Campaign Story
Message from Sam:
I am a 6th grader at the Singapore American School and as a part of my study on Water in my Science class, I have decided to fund raise for providing water for a school in the southern part of India, Karnataka. The school is Government Primary High School is located in Bijuwara which 56km from Bangalore. The school has 125 students spread over grades from 1 to 8 and has 5 teachers and a headmaster. There are 2 buildings in the school. The village Panchayat only supplies water once in 15 days much below the 1500 liters of water that is required, everyday, for sanitation, cooking, vessel, and washing.
My family is supporting me in this and I request you to contribute to this, if you feel like. We are partnering with Biome Solutions (http://www.biome-solutions.com/) in India to make this happen. Biome Solutions will use the funds I raise for a Rainharvesting which will substitute current Ground Water, which contains a lot of Flouride and leads to Fluorosis in the school children.
I hope to visit this school one day, as my grandparents live in Bangalore. Thank you very much in advance for your contribution.
