My name is Vasko Svyatoslav, son of Vyaceslav "Slavik" Vasko, who is the kindest, most loving husband of Lyubov Vasko. He was born in Ukraine on 1st of January 1969 in Korolevo village. Due to harsh conditions and struggle to build a future in Ukraine at that period of time, my parents moved to Romania in Satu Mare county. Life was never easy for them but they managed to overcome many difficulties along the way, raise me as best as they could and help people along the way.

He served in the army 2 years, went out as lieutenant, earning medals and recognitions for his deeds.

He has a degree in Physical Education and Sport, former athlete, non smoker.

My father has always been my role model, my hero - teaching me how a man should live his life, starting from how he wakes up, walks, talks to people, appreciates every single blessing and challenge that God brings along our path. He would always tell me the following: "When the time comes, a real man will be judged by his good deeds and his strong will...never forget that".

In July he was diagnosed with contracted pancreatic cancer with liver metastasis at the age of 49. With the help of friends he was hospitalized in Wiener Privatklinik WPK in Vienna where his doctor Prof. Christoph Zielinski performs potentially life-saving treatment.

At the moment he is undergoing his 3rd chemotherapy treatment and it must continue for another 3 months.

He's greatly loved by all those who know him and we desperately hope we can raise the money that is necessary for the treatment to save his life.

As a desperate son of a beloved father, I want to reach out to any person who is willing and able to help with a small amount in order to help save my father's life. Any amount is deeply appreciated !
