Being a girl isn't easy, but this world needs brave girls! No princesses with shiny lips, no models on glossy billboards with photoshopped bodies, neither war heroines that feel they need be fill in "male" roles, but girls in the middle of our society that simply kick ass!

Thanks for the irunfar.com community, I have gotten to know the "Girls Gotta Run Foundatioun" that invests in girls who use running and education to empower themselves and their communities in Ethiopia. The hard work, the camaraderie and the perspective of a life where they can be the master of their lives is what inspired me to raise money for this cause.

I will run the 56km course of the "Trail de la Vallée des Lacs" with 3000m of climbing in Gérardmer, France on June 15, 2019, and yes it will be the hardest race I have ever done, but it will be peanuts compared to what these girls are putting in day in day out. I hope you can show your support to them by leaving a small donation.

Thanks very much, your support will be highly appreciated!
