Campaign Story
Hi! This is Ginger, an injured stray cat that we found nearby our office building near Macpherson Road. We found him a few weeks ago with a bleeding skull and with the help of some kind souls, we are able to trap him and send him to the vet. We have no idea what is the cause of this injury but the vet said that it is highly possible Ginger hit something concrete while running away from something/someone.
When he was brought to the vet, his wound is already few weeks old and badly infected. The skin tissues around the wound are deemed "dead" and his right eye is affected as well due to the deeply infected wound.
It is a very painful healing process for Ginger as he went through surgery to stitch the skin back in order to help with the re-growing of healthy skin tissues.
He needs constant care to clean and apply cream to his wound twice a day and he has been recuperating at the vet since 12 June 2015.
Currently, his vet bill is $1,454 (dated 7 July 2015) and the sum is still growing because he's still recovering at the clinic due to the severity of this condition, and is not ready to be released back onto the streets, or even be fostered.
We would like to canvass for donations of any amount to help us with the increasing cost of his vet bills and his sterilisation after his head injury recovery.
If anyone knows anyone who can foster in the upcoming months, please let us know as well.
Ginger mews and thanks you all for your love. His heart is warm and fuzzy from all your kindness.
Thank you for your support!
