THE EVER-CHANGING STORY OF THE LIVING GODDESS

KUMARI, THE FLOWER GIRL

Kumari stands for a living goddess, and in my view her potential lives in each of us. She is the thread, found in different landscapes and atmospheres in each collage.

A book based on the reproduction of 23 dream maps/vision boards, collages made of recycled material, things people throw away. Supported by poetry of women friends, people like you and me carrying wisdom deep inside.

Our speedy, action oriented world today is in deep need of opportunities and time to simply be together, to listen to each other and share what lives deep in our heart of hearts and from there co-creating the world we want to live in together.

So this is a ‘Tea Table Book’ to inspire contemplation, introspection, story-telling, poem writing, creating your own dream maps and connecting with others through these activities. An art therapy project to share with friends, family, children and assist melting down frozen places in our bodies and hearts using visioning and deep intuitive knowing.

Finding my place under the sun, I have been living in the international community of Auroville, south India for the past 26 years. In the beginning years I have been learning through the gift of motherhood, planted hundreds of trees and took care of a little piece of the forest.

Even though I have been trained in diverse individual based therapies, for the past about 15 years my gift of bringing people together in groups/circles has become my main service. With a partner or by myself I teach Aquatic Bodywork (Watsu, Liquid Flow), offer spaces for free creative dance expression (Dance Offering), hold women circles (Women Temple) and retreats (combined with Nonviolent Communication)…

In separate workshops or combined with groups described above I guide people to create their own vision boards and intentionally contribute towards creating the “World we want to live in”.

As the participants create so I create my own dream maps and over the years gratefully witness the intentions becoming the life I live. The journey of the very personal dream maps, became an exhibition appreciated by adults and children and the idea was born to share them further and give them life in a book.

So the idea is to self-publish this little gift here in India; 500-750 copies of the book of 60 pages, hard cover, format 25x21cm. The books will be distributed in the bookshops and on events in/around Auroville, available to order by mail and sent in bulk to places I travel to, and offered there in the circles where I teach, support or participate. A percentage of the income of the book will go towards Auroville Art Services, under which wing this book is being published.

I would love to see the book being born before Auroville’s 49^th birthday on 28. February 2017 and for this the book needs to go into print beginning of January! Will you please help!

2600 EUROS IS NEEDED FOR ‘THE BIRTH OF THIS BABY’

2250 Euros; for printing and all the steps towards it; and to contribute to the amazing designer Raluca, who all the way from Rumania, helps with her computer magic and deep sensitivity to bring my at times challenging ideas into visuals

As in my believe/understanding we live in times of transition from collapsing hierarchical models of society towards more circular, feminine, earth values and circle based living together, I would like to offer 10% of the income of this crowd-funding towards the STANDING ROCK MOVEMENT. For me this is one of many movements on this planet at the present in need of support, yet right now the symbol of this transition times, where the most outrageous sides of us humans are being shown, yet the most beautiful and powerful ways of coming together in support are emerging even stronger globally.
