Gia is celebrating her birthday by supporting animals in need

My name is Georgia and the past four years I have started my volunteer practice for rescuing cats. Cats in Cyprus, live a horrendous life, full of dangers, sickness, and while they try to survive, they overpopulate, making this situation a huge hazard for them and for us. As the government does not take this seriously, and barely does anything about this issue, some volunteers, due to internal motivation, are investing their own time and financial resources to attempt to regulate this situation. I have also joined this volunteers force in 2019 attempting to control the population in three different areas in Limassol. Since then about 300 cats have been neutered or spayed, many of them have been rehabilitated either found with illnesses or severe injuries, and the luckiest ones were able to find homes, thus being saved from the ruthless streets of Cyprus.

During these years, a huge amount of debt has been accumulated at the vet. This year, instead of personal gifts, I would like to collect a significant amount to cover the amount due at the vet's. I cannot keep going without you all!
