Ghana Para Powerlifters for Tokyo 2020

The Ghana Para Powerlifting Association, the National Paralympic Committee of Ghana and especially the Para Powerlifting Team have a dream and mission to increase the number of athletes that will gain an automatic qualification in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. Having set this agenda, the team is burdened with the need to attend mandatory qualification competitions in order to increase the chances of athletes gaining entry slots in the 2020 Paralympic Games. All donations will strictly cater for airfares, sports entry fees, accommodation & feeding for the Team of 6 athletes and 2 officials.

With the current performance of our new athletes and the existing female athletes, it is our strong belief that when given the chance, these athletes who have had physical impairments since childhood and some through trauma will boost their self esteem by also representing their country Ghana and displaying their talent to inspire and excite the world.
