Ghana: Michael’s Gap Year Adventure

As you may or may not be aware, in September this year I will be heading over to Ghana for three months with seven other volunteers, to do some teaching and caring in a local village just outside the capital, Accra. I will be teaching everything from English to Geography and, of course, starting my own African children's gospel choir! I want to bring a new angle into the school where music is used to much greater effect as an educational tool while, of course, bringing great joy to the kids. In order to achieve this goal, I will have to raise anywhere between $1000 and $2000 over the next few months. The money raised will be used to fund the purchase of basic musical instruments and music exercise books. All money donated will be overseen by me, It will go to the kids. So, please donate generously. Every donation, large or small, will be greatly appreciated. I will keep you all updated with photos on how well your money has been spent over there.
