Ghana is experiencing an acute shortage in housing deficits and current cost of homes are far beyond the reach of a lot of the citizens, especially the middle and low income brackets. I (we as a team) decides to use this platform to raise funds to procure equipment and building inputs / materials towards the project. We are a team of three (3) young and enterprising guys with various professional careers who decided to pitch our passions and help make an impact in this regard. With our IT / basic Electrical Engineering, Building Construction / Civil Engineering and marketing and PR backgrounds, we strongly believe our collective effort will yield a great result.

With our collective knowledge in concepts, design and dream to construct and offer modern living spaces / homes, We want to start an effort towards building / providing affordable alternatives themed GHANA AFFORDABLE ECO HOMES PROJECTS. These homes will be One (1) or Two (2) bedroom facilities complete with toilets and baths, built using a minimal land requirements, complete and integrated with all amenities and fixtures or not. The Project / Business module is to use current quick and simple construction methods / durable green materials to build the homes that will be 40% to 60% lower in cost compared to traditional and current market prices and value. To be delivered with a well structured payment and acquisition plan and business model. Our chosen technology / material and methodology will be based on usage of CLC blocks (Cellular Light Weight Concrete) and it is also called as Foam Concrete. Cellular Light Weight Concrete (CLC) is a version of light weight concrete that is produced like normal concrete under ambient conditions. CLC Blocks are a cement-bonded material made by blending slurry of cement and foam, due to its cost and qualities or alternatively usage of ISSbs (Interlocking Stabilized Soil Blocks) also called Interlocking Compressed Earth Blocks (ICEBs), bricks that are made from compressed mixed soil using an engineered chemical blends to achieve concrete hard strengths. Roofing to be done with normal aluminium zincs readily available.

Our resolve and target is to be able to cross a landmark of 10 to 20 homes per month and 100 or more each year, all with readily available funds supports or backings from you founder / backers. The over all objective will be geared towards seeing people experience real happiness, smile by having a place to call a home without burning or spending their lifetime savings.

All these projections have a strong financial projections that shoots in growth and profitability direction whilst offering a humanitarian service, thus is a good venture for our backers to invest and put commit resources into. We hope and therefore strongly believe this will be one of the best projects that will appeal to any interested backer with a dream of helping us contribute to make an impact with.
