Getting out of Debt!

Hello. We have been trying to get out of debt since we got married but things keep popping up! On top of personal debt, I had surgery that my insurance company should have covered all but about $2500 of it. They only paid out $10K and we are not stuck with about 10K+ in medical debt. My parents are aging and it's on me to look after them. My father had his 2nd heart attack this year and is now retired. I'm trying to get debt free so that I can take on any responsiblities for my parents should they arise. I'm hoping to be out of debt by the end of next year but we'll see. Any amount helps! Thanks!!!
