Getting Going

A couple weeks ago I was about to head up to my cottage in my new truck that I had just bought 2 days prior for a really great price. I was planning on going up for most of the summer so I filled it to the brim with all of my cherished personal things along with a few select garage sale items I had acquired since I got the truck. I didn't think anything of the paint job - I used to spray paint my car all the time instead of washing it.

Little did I know I was about to be taken on a much different journey than I had planned.

Next thing I know I'm being stuffed in the back of a police SUV because my beloved new truck was suspected to have been involved in some illegal activity 4 days prior and they've deemed all items inside - stolen.

Long story short -

2 weeks (23.5 hour lock down/day due to covid-19) later - I get out only to discover that my dear truck had been seized alongside all its contents and I won't be seeing any of it for a long while - if ever at all.

I know it's 'just stuff' but it was the last of my collection of things that I had acquired in my travels and I was holding it near and dear until it was time to strike. Oops!

Please help me raise enough to buy another used truck (hopefully one without a criminal record). So I can get up to my cottage (and back for court lol) finally. I just got dealt a bad hand.
