Getting Back on Feet to Save Lives

Hi! My name is Lisa and I want to do what the Lord has called me to do.  It has been a long, difficult road and I know He is faithful to provide because He tells me He is my Great Provider. 

I look to trust and obey Him in all that I do, as I live out the life He gives me.

I believe He is calling me to go to college, so that I can be better equipped to do all He has called me to do. 

Before I came to Christ, I was like a deer in headlights.  I have been falsely accused of things one after another, with no relief.  I have cried many tears and thanked Him in everything along the way. It has left me penniless.  I sought Him continuously and He has been my refuge and fortress, in the process of gaining my relationship in Him.  I know, in whatever circumstance He has me in, whether I have little or much, I am still, content in Him.

I have looked for work, constantly, as He calls us to. I have worked very hard, all of my life. Being where I am, has not been easy.  It has been unfamiliar and very humbling.  I am depending on Him to provide for me and to trust Him,  as I continue, to honor His calling, for my life.

The funds I come humbly before you, in requesting,r will allow me to have a practical, economical car, to go to and from college. It is further away and is the only one that offers everything I need.

I would love to eventually go on a mission as well. That has been on my heart for quite some time, now.

My health has not beein in the best of shape and I would like to also have the funding to get it taken care of, as well, so that I can do all He requires of me. It is all offered where I am going and is part of the cost stated.

As I have called the college to find out all the expenses for everything needing to be done and the car included, it will run me approximately $35,000.  With the mission included, probably closer to $40,000.

I ask you to pray before the Lord and allow Him to guide your heart, as to what He would have you give, as He has blessed you and calls one to give to the poor.

May He return the blessing back to you, graciously.
