Getting back my Corgi

Hello everyone,

I've had a corgi puppy last year, but unfortunate cirumstances cropped up as I lost my place and was unable to find a place to hold him until I found a new place, therefore, I rehomed him and in the process lost over a thousand dollars.

I fell into a state of self-pity and grieve as I believed that I have made a huge mistake.
Now that I have my own place, I hope to get back my puppy by offering the new owner a hefty amount, hoping that there is a chance that I would get him back
