I am the grandmother of 15 year old twins and one of them has been selected to represent her School at the National Youth Leadership Forum on Law and Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) to be held in Washington, D.C. this summer 2013.
I have been raising them for the past thirteen years and gave up my carreer to do so. I cannot afford to grant this once in a life time oppurtunity that has been offered to Abigail, so I am asking for your help. Abigail has shown a strong interest in law and is currently attending an Early College High School, she is a sophmore and this semester is taking her first college course. This would be a trip that would motivate her and keep on the right track throughout these upcomming years when so many of our youth get off track.
The trip will cost in total about 5000.00, any help given is from the bottom of my heart appreciated. This money will cover 6 days hotel stay, 5 days of firsthand experiences with an introduction to the legal system to include forensic science, two meals a day and transportation from airport to hotel and return to airport. Also covered will be air transportation from San Antonio to Washington D.C and back with a little pocket money for snacks, the students are taken on tours of the Washington monuments on the last day.
Again any help is truly appreciated and would help my granddaughter stay focused on her future and be one of her generations rising stars.
