Getaway For Ely

Hello to all people of good heart!

We are very close group of friends, who decided to use all our power, strength, love and savings to help our awesome and goodhearted friend Ely.
Our friend Ely Paz, his wife, his mom, dad and younger sister (his whole family), who live all together in place La Lima, Honduras [South America], lost EVERYTHING they had in a recent hurricanes Eta & Iota that happened last week of November 2020.
House as structure is there, it is in process of cleaning right now, but the moment we contacted Ely 10 days ago on the night of this catastrophe where many lives were lost around the whole state, the shock came fast! Everything inside and outside of the house was gone. Devastated, anxious, emotionally broken, desperate and shocked, family lost all their possessions, belongings and place to live. It will take weeks, maybe even months to recover from it, as family also lost their private business as grocery store owners. They are safe for some time in their cousins house, were bills needs to be payed for, which is getting more difficult without any kind of financial help. Without the place they use to call home, without the job to provide some savings and start over, Paz family basically has no options left - except all of us - people of good heart.
Me [Alex] and our large group of 32 friends and colleagues, decided to make this campaign since we all (including Ely) use to work together for a large company, and we are all on very long standby because current world pandemic caused by Covid19. With or without current savings among us, our hearts are broken, and as we all are in some kind of difficult situations, as a group we consider that Ely is the one who needs our (and yours) help the most.
In this first run, we set our goal on not so high point, so we can help him fast, to at least recover and remake his house and property for future living. As the best date we have chosen Christmas, because that is the time to be with family, that is the best time to share love and give your hope to someone who needs it.
Ely is a very funny, generous, goodhearted and hardworking brother of ours, he is our family and we kindly will ask you to DONATE, any donation at this moment is very generous, any kind of help for our friend is good at this moment. We are Getaway team, so this time we want to make "Getaway For Ely".
