"Get your own dog!" they said, running away from me as fast as they could, clutching their dog to their chest.
"I would if I could!" I screamed back at them, tears in my eyes, hands empty and dreams unfulfilled.
Call this is an early birthday or a late Christmas present. Call this a helping hand in my ongoing psychotherapy quest for happiness. Call this an insurance payment for me not to steal your dog when you are not looking. Whatever you call this, the deal is - I need a dog in my life, and I'm asking you to help me if you can.
Here's a breakdown of the expenses I need to cover:
700 EUR - the puppy (including a pet passport, vaccinations, microchipping and export pedigree)
100 EUR - approximate expenses for me to get to Czech Republic and back to get the puppy
100 EUR - a crate for the dog
50 EUR - a bed for the dog
50 EUR - first month of food
40 EUR - a leash and collar
10 EUR - food bowls
TOTAL: 1000 EUR
I will try to cover as much as I can myself, but any help would be greatly appreciated. I have 655 friends on Facebook. If all of the donated 1.50 EUR, I would have a dog. Alternatively, I have 60 friends on Facebook that I'm not afraid to ask money from. If you are reading this, you are probably one of them. If all of you donated 15 EUR, I would have a dog!
Why would you deserve my money just to get a dog? What's in it for me?
Why a Welsh Springer Spaniel? Why not a shelter dog?
Why Czech Republic?
P.S. My puppy's mom is called Hermiona Granger, I SHIT YOU NOT.
