On a random Sunday morning, on a random surfing WhatsApp group, a bunch of Cape Town surfers got the crazy idea to try and raise funds to buy a property on the North Shore of O‘ahu, Hawaii.
Every year we watch surfers on the WSL take on this iconic wave - then re-watching the comps too many times to count.
Seeing that none of us can afford to travel to Hawaii, we can’t even dream to afford to buy a property on the seven mile miracle! So we decided to take a stab at crowdfunding.
5% joke, 95% hopeful that it actually works!
