Get us on the property ladder

Hi we are Cody and Rachel and we are a young professional couple who would desperately like to buy a house! The reason we are so keen to get on the property ladder is because we are sick and tired of being shafted by landlords and estate agents. Additionally, rising rent costs mean that being able to save for a deposit is almost impossible! In the past we have had to go to the Deposit Protection Scheme to get our deposits back because of conspiring estate agents and landlords trying to bleed us of every penny we have by lying about the state of the property (the ombudsman has ALWAYS found in our favour). Also, it's pretty miserable having to have permission to do even the slightest thing in the house and it never feels like your own.   We will, of course, continue to try and save up for a deposit, however if you can offer any help at all then it would be greatly appreciated!
