Campaign Story
The reigning Queen of Comedy in Malaysia, Joanne Kam, will be the first Malaysian female comic to be featured in her own solo show in Australia. Touring two cities in one month, she will penetrate the festivals with her notorious brand of Malaysian comedy in FRINGE WORLD 2018 (Perth) and Adelaide Fringe 2018. Her stories will include all things Malaysian from KLCC to Nasi Lemak and Durians. As a single mother Joanne will also talk about the trials & tribulations of dating in Asia and how Asian women are perceived.
Your kind support will go towards covering the cost of accommodations, transportation and on-ground expenses for her team, who will also be producing a travelogue of Joanne's experiences Down Under. Help Joanne infect Australia with her unique brand of in your face humour that is Truely Asian & Malaysian.
