Get Out Fund

My name is Lix, I'm 23 years old, and I'm raising money to rent an apartment I can move into with my mother and my sixteen-year-old sister (and my cat), and away from my father. Both my parents are unemployed - my mom not for lack of trying. I have the kind of social anxiety that makes it hard to look for a conventional job, especially when you hear stats like the unemployment rate (over 20% in Spain now). I have a photography shop on Etsy, http://etsy.com/shop/lixhewettphotography - but it takes time to get a business off the ground, and the situation at home grows worse and worse. It's a toxic environment for everyone, but most of all for my mom, who has a history of tachycardia and depression. I'm afraid she may have some sort of breakdown if nothing changes, so I'm trying everything I can to get us out of our current flat (which my father has piled debts and debts upon) as soon as possible - as soon as we have enough money to cover at least four months of rent and living expenses. I don't want to get my mom out just so she can worry herself sick over how we're going to pay for our next meal all over again - but I do want to get my mom (and sister, and cat, and myself) out.

That's what this fundraiser is about.

If you'd rather give me work than donate, I offer my services as a proofreader (English and Spanish), translator (English to Spanish and Spanish to English) and photographer (product, portrait, etc.). I have no professional experience modeling, but I love doing it on an amateur level and would be happy to model clothing and accessories.
