Get my novel edited.

Hi.

I need to get my novel funded for editing so that I can get it published for an income for my family and me. I titled the novel Dead Ground, and it is 119000 words long. When I started the project, I did not have a problem with paying for the editing, but various situations have contributed to the fact that I cannot afford to get my novel published. Our income currently is not very much. I am a freelance writer and we are barely making enough to stay afloat. Help me get my dream up and running by getting Dead Ground published so that I can have a chance at creating another income stream for my family.

Let me share my novel with you. The protagonist is Olivia Wolfe. She was born in Israel and at a young age, they killed her mother. Her father developed locked-in syndrome and stopped communicating with anybody. Olivia had no option but to go live with her Uncle Levi on his farm. It turns out he was training Mossad agents and Olivia started to shoot on the shooting range and with time her uncle taught her shooting and other skills. The consequence is that by the time she goes to the Israel Defense Force for national service she is actually a highly trained warrior.

I must mention that Olivia actually has a "superpower" in that she is one of 5% of the population of the world who becomes calm in chaotic situations. That gives her another edge. After her service in the army, they send her to New York as an anti-terrorism expert for the NYPD SWAT. Olivia ends up becoming a US Citizen.

The actual novel starts now. A pandemic breaks out in the USA. Actually, it's a Russian biological weapon based on the Lissa (Rabies) Virus. Olivia has to get her and her party to safety. The problem is the world is exceptionally dangerous now with rogue bands of criminals and infected people to contend with. They survive by sticking to sailing on a boat. Olivia also has to contend with another problem. She became addicted to OxyContin because of her doctor abusing the system. So, the story develops with her having to overcome the external and internal world, and get her group to safety.

My wife is a photographer for about 1 year now. Before that, she was an ICU Sister at Mediclinic. With her we found a young woman to pose for photos for the cover of Dead Ground. I will attach some photos here.

I was an officer in the SANDF, but after 26 years I had been a major for 13 of them. My career was going nowhere. I resigned in October 2019. My wife would have kept on working and I would write, but then she developed major back issues, so she had to resign as well. Throw in COVID-19. Suddenly, we were both without work in the middle of a pandemic.

To make things worse, they diagnosed me with Vertigo in January 2020 and we had money invested with MTI (Mirror Trading International) which went belly-up. We lost everything. My novel was my way out, among others, but nothing has really worked out.

This funding effort will be part of my marketing campaign for Dead Ground. Once my novel has been edited, I will have it published on Amazon. With the income, I plan to write a follow-up novel. For a small amount you can put me on my way to getting Dead Ground published.
