Campaign Story
My daughter is a cheerleader at a small charter school in New Mexico. Most of the student body come from families who are not well-off or are from at-risk demographics. The girls have worked hard at fundraising, but school policies require that all funds raised under the school's name go to the general athletic fund, and not to the group that raised them. I've done a lot for the squad the past few years but am tapped out. To that end, I'm trying to raise money to fund the squad for this season. The target goal will cover all their needs: uniforms, warmups, competition fees, and travel expenses. Even if we don't make that goal, every bit helps! If we exceed our goal, the funds will either go toward extra clinics and training for the girls, or will go to the athletic department.
I'm a successful author and am offering two categories of rewards: reader rewards and author rewards. If none of the rewards are of interest to you, but you'd still like to donate, that's great, too!
Rewards

Indie Author Mentorship I've enjoyed a successful indie publising career and offer advice through my Wood on Words podcast and my Indie Publishing Success workship. If you're an indie author, particularly one just starting out, I'll coach you in any aspects of indie publishing you like. Writing, the publishing process, marketing strategies, audience engagement. Mentoring will include up to three Skype sessions of up to an hour apiece, and I'm also just an email away the rest of the time. When your next book is published I'll promote it through my various channels.
