I am a former executive that got laid off from his job months ago. Unemployment shut me off five weeks ago because I made an honest mistake! They are shutting people off for the smallest infraction!!! Two weeks ago my SUV broke down - the starter went. When I went to e-mail for help these mean people (owners) at the gas station I broke down in called the police. They impounded my car because my registration was expired.  My cat named Angus was in the car. At the police station the police said I had to remove the cat immediately. I had been living in my car - now I had no where to go but to a shelter in Northampton Ma. - but they won't understandably accept animals. A lady visiting the police station heard my plight and said she takes care of stray cats - I had no recourse but to trust her and give her Angus. When I called a few days ago her husband answered and gruffly said my cat wasn't there - he had never seen him!! I was panicstricken!! The lady called back an hour later and said she is hiding Angus from her husband (she called him a moron) in a shed near her trailer (home). She says that he is fine - I am freaking out!! I need to get my car out of impound and fixed ASAP to get my cat back!!! I can stay with a new freind i met recently with Angus till I get back on my feet. PLEASE HELP!! I need $1233 to pay the towing ($180)and storage charges ($35/day), register my car ($38) and put in a new starter ($350). Any donation will help!! God Bless You!!
