Get Lucky to South Africa

Hi everyone!

Last November, we rescued a tiny kitten from an apartment building. One of our students told us about a small ginger and white cat that was living underneath an apartment building in our little town, his mother has been ridden over in the main road and he was left to fend for himself. Someone had been feeding him and had made him a box to sleep in. He was about a month old at the time. Our hearts broke for this poor little thing as winter was about to arrive. With no hesitation we decided to rescue him just to keep him warm and safe during the winter. We had the intention to nurse him back to health, get his vaccinations and get him ready to re-home - as we only had a few months left in Korea. We named him Lucky. Things did not go according to plan - we fell in love with the little man. He is the most amazing cat who loves to cuddle under the blanket and watch Nat Geo wild before going to bed. We have decided to take him home with us to South Africa because the thought of leaving the most lovable, adorable and precious little thing in Korea breaks our hearts. We got a big surprise finding out that it was not going to be as easy as we thought to get him home. The cost of relocating him to South Africa is a lot higher than we expected it to be. This was not in our budget but we cannot leave him behind. We are not seeking the full amount because we know we took the responsibility to rescue him. We are just looking to alleviate some of the pressure we are facing with getting him home. The medical costs of getting him healthy and ready to go home have not been easy and we would appreciate anyone who is willing to donate any amount to help Lucky get back home.
