At Christmas time, Graeme a brilliant creative here at Multiply, discovered that he had Leukaemia. Young lad, 29 and fit as a fiddle.
Since then he has undergone 3 rounds of chemo and at the beginning of April, he will be undergoing the horribly named, bone marrow transplant. So I thought that since I run a lot, why not chuck that into something useful and try raise a bit of cash for the lad. I thought a proper lux night at Gleneagles for Graeme and his wife Nic, would be a great post-operative recovery. And if there were any additional funds then I could hand those over to Leukemia UK.
So the plan is for me to run the Manchester Marathon on the 8th April – this would be my first and i want to give it a proper go aiming for 3 hours and 20 minutes.
I hope you would donate a wee bit of cash – This will help give them some quality R & R .
Thanks for your support xx
