Get Gracija to USA

Well, hello :)

I am a 21 year old girl from Croatia! Yes, you heard right, Croatia - that little, "sweet" ex Yugoslavian country. I live in a small village called Laduč, (č is prononced like ch - just in case you wondered). I travel by train every day to Zagreb (Capital of Croatia) for college, work, friends, you name it. I study business at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb and that is the only thing I actually like about living here - I've always liked to study and read ever since kindergarden. But the thing is I always dreamt of living in a big city, having a fast life, work till I drop and that kind of things. And recently I got a kind of oportunity. You all probably heard of those work & travel agencies. If you haven't - here is the thing : if you are a student, you can go to USA, Australia, etc. and work there for 3-4 months over the summer. But you have to pay fees to agency, visa, passport, plain ticket and of course you have to have some money with you just in case. I worked over the summer as a student and I earned about 5000 kn which is around 732 US$. It is hard to work and go to college, bcs they all want you to work 9-5 even though they know you are a student and have classes to attend - but I will try. But the thing is - I'm scared I will fail. So this is the whole point. I really want that experience, not just for the money, or for show - I want to meet new people, get away from this town ( even just for 3 months ) , learn, be excited, be rich with experience and - be happy. That's the thing you know. I do not wanna go so I can tell my freinds I am going to NYC or LA or something like that. I want go for me. A lot of my friends and family like living here but I never felt like i belonged. So.. I am asking for this opportunity. I have those 732$, and like I said I will try to earn some more, I think I need around 1500-2000 $, so if you like my story and want to help .. I would be very thankful. Here is a little anegdote - once when I studied gegraphy I saw a picture of Grand Canyon and started to cry - haha. So you can see - for those 3 months in USA - i know I will work and it will be hard - but I will be there and it would be my biggest dream come true :)
