Get Fahim to the Harvard Model U.N Conference

Who is this for: Fahim Akhand, a Political Science student at Carleton University 

What is this for: Fahim has been invited to participate as a member of the Carleton United Nations Society delegation attending the Harvard Model United Nations Conference in February. In order to attend participants must pay the delegation fee, estimated costs for transportation, and hotel fees. The cost of all the meals are also extra. The conference isn't being subsidized by a University organization because it didn't fall within funding parameters.

Why it matters: As we go through life we are often told all we need is a drive and perseverance. Then reality hits and we realize sometimes a little more is needed. In this case Fahim has worked hard and has been recognized for that but he may lose out on this great opportunity because lack of funding. Let's make his dream possible and his future a little brighter.
