Once upon a time, there was a tree. This tree was no ordinary tree. It was a man-made tree, built in the Karoo in South Africa. This tree was built by some of the most beautiful creatures known to planet Earth. They came from far and wide to witness and take part in any way they could. During the building of this magical tree, a young man found himself perched on a branch, ever so often catching the eye of a young lady friend. They talked, and laughed, and spent evenings star-gazing laying in the tree under the African sky, slowly but surely finding themselves falling for each other.

The tree was built, a celebration was had, and no sooner than it had started, it came time for the young gentleman to fly home across the sea. Needless to say, two hearts broke into four little pieces that day. They tried their best to stay in contact, but no amount of video chat could keep them from the desire to see one another in the flesh.

But how could it come to be? A musician and a rigger, mere mortals incapable of affording such extravagant adventures, how would they make this little dream into a reality? And then, no sooner than they were about to give up and spend the next few months drinking away the sorrow, a little bird told them about GoGetFunding, and an idea sparked within their heads.
