Get a portable oxigen for my mom and initial health treatment

im so blessed to see this kind of pages that gives you the opportunity to share your experiences and stories and i hope you can find also some inspiration in what im about to say.

Let me introduce myself and what we do as a family.

My name is Fabian Soto, im from Colombia, and i actually have 26 years old. im graduated from university but for different reasons i still live with my parents, which leads me to what im about to tell.

They don't know im doing this but i believe you can give us some help to achieve the goal.

About my family i can tell you that my mom haves a small business, she is mother of 2 more brothers (older than me) and basically most of the things we have is a result of everything she develop through many years persevering in the manufacture of clothes, manufacture of uniforms for sport teams, cheers teams and schools, etc., as well for my dad's work and compromise with our family. Unfortunately for my mom, everything has changed and she is unable to perform as well as before.

Everything started trying to sing up my mom to a prepaid health care plan in my country (Colombia) and the asked to take some routine exams in order to accept her. We did everything they told us to do, and everything was really fast!. Sadly not everything happened the way we were expecting. Exams revealed some problems with her thyroid in first place, but as the continued all the exams, we discovered a bigger problem with her lung; sequels of an active smoker for many years but still, she quit it completely about 4 to 5 years ago.

As a family we decided to continue with the investigation process through the regular health care plan that every citizen should have, but later on the more we investigated, the more we were finding that my mom's health was being seriously affected.

2 months ago my mom received a direct order from the medics to have oxygen 24/7, and from that point everything in our lifestyle suddenly changed. After all the exams the diagnostic ended last December of 2016 in what we feared the most: a carcinogenic tumor in the right lung.

We had a very difficult time and still we are in the process to get all the strength we need to fight against this, and now at this point this is the reason im creating this campaign; i want to give my mom better conditions in order to help to her healing and longevity of life. according to medical recommendations it will be great to provide her mobility and to possibility to continue life as normal as posible.

In order to do that, we need to provide her mobility, but is quite expensive because we need to constantly charge small tanks of oxygen day by day. for that reason, we are having troubles when she wants to go out to change the environment or to go to mall, hang out with our family, etc.

Something that will help us a lot to save money and have no worries while we are out is to have a machine that could be portable and that can provide all the oxygen she needs to have her blood at the recommended measures.

As we investigated this machine cost around $5000 dollars and we don´t have right now the possibility to pay this amount by ourselves.

you can really help us with anything you have to achieve this goal. helping us you can surely know that the money its gonna help somebody to have a better life.

We are a family that trust God and we believe that the ultimate word comes from him, and that even a thing you thing could be small to help us, its gonna make the difference.. i pray that God will bless you back in everything you do!.
