Get a new Air Conditioner

Hi all. My name is Phil Dawson. I am a 40 year old man with three young daughters. I am employed at a local lawn mower plant. We live in Columbia, SC. This summer has been unbearably hot. We were barely keeping cool with a little room sized ac until I removed it from the living room window and placed it in my oldest daughter's bedroom window.  At the moment, we all congregate in the 11 year-olds room to cool off. While it does get cool in there, it is a very uncomfortable situation for all of us(11 yr old, 8 yr old, 6yr old and myself). I am asking for some assistance in acquiring a new ac that will be big enough to cool our entire home(1,200 as ft). I have attempted to save up for one several  times this year but while living check to check, it's almost impossible. Plus school clothes have to be purchased in a week or two, so saving for an ac will have to wait. Please help us acquire a new ac. The wall thermometer read 98 degrees fahrenheit in my youngest two daughters room on yesterday. They would like to sleep and play in their own room and my 11 yr old is constantly on me about her privacy. Please help. My girls can't have friends over or be normal kids in this hot house.
