The National University of Malaysia’s Geology Club is a Non-Profit Organization which aspires to form modern students, leadership and high competitiveness to enhance the leadership and skills of students in shaping identity, realizing the philosophy, vision, mission and goals of The National University of Malaysia, promote academic and co-curricular student clubs, developing students knowledge and work and internationalize the image of and contribution to society.
We are a group of students from The National University of Malaysia aiming to apply for funds from governmental bodies and non-governmental organizations to implement "Smart Partnership Geology with UPN Veteran and Charity Programme in Yogyakarta, East Java, Indonesia." for seven days organized by the Geology Club 2016/2017 session. In addition, this paper also aims to get sponsorship from agencies and private work in the hope of helping to launch the program and give information in detail about the program to the parties involved.
Besides aiming for educational purposes, we also do charity program which involves a visit to the orphanage in Yogyakarta. This charity is inspired by the 3.2 million orphans in Indonesia with 157, 621 children from East Java. We feel that these children should be reached in many ways to help them get their basic necessities, proper welfare and education.
The programme will also provide an opportunity for other students to recognize Geology of Malaysia. It will also provide prior information to students who wish to pursue graduate studies in both countries.
