Genghis Vespa – Mongol Rally 2023

🇮🇹 Il MONGOL RALLY è un Rally non competitivo ed a scopo di beneficenza, e viene descritto dagli organizzatori come "la più grande avventura del mondo"!

Si parte da Praga per arrivare nella ridente città di ULAN BATOOR in Mongolia, per poi sconfinare a Ulan Ude in Russia dove il viaggio si conclude definitivamente.

Le regole del Rally sono semplici e veloci da apprendere...

1. Il veicolo prescelto deve avere cilindrata di 1.2 litri massimo, in caso di moto preferibilmente uno scooter di max 125cc

2. Sei completamente da solo, decidi tu il tragitto

3. Bisogna raccogliere almeno 1000 sterline per beneficenza, 500£ delle quali da devolvere a CoolEarth.org, ente che si occupa di proteggere le foreste pluviali attraverso programmi sviluppati con le popolazioni indigene, ed il resto ad un progetto individuato dal Team.

Il Team Genghis Vespa, composto da Me medesimo, che parteciperà all’edizione 2022 in una Vespa 125, ha scelto di supportare “Plastic Free Odv Onlus un’associazione di volontariato nata il 29 Luglio 2019 con l’obiettivo di informare e sensibilizzare più persone possibili sulla pericolosità della plastica, in particolare quella monouso, che non solo inquina bensì uccide. Plastic Free ha oltre 150 milioni di utenti e oggi, con oltre 300 referenti in tutta Italia e con più si 200.000km di plastica raccolti in Italia.

Il motivo della scelta si questa Associazione della quale sono referente, sta nel fatto che in moltissimi viaggi fatti in giro per il mondo, anche in posti molto esotici e lontani, una costante è stata l’inquinamento in mare e terra della plastica.

Perché potrei andare in vacanza a Bali ma penso che seguirmi in quest'avventura per voi sarà molto più divertente ed interessante! Sicuramente vi divertirete molto più vedendo i miei video su YouTube in preparazione al Mongol Rally che non qualche soap opera strappalacrime!

Perchè ogni anno grazie ai team che partecipano a questa iniziativa viene raccolto più di mezzo milione di Euro tutti in beneficenza!

Perchè anche se non ho grossa esperienza in termini di meccanica e motori sono sicuro che grazie al vostro supporto e a quello delle persone che incontrerò sulla strada verso la Mongolia riuscirò ad completare quest’impresa su una Vespa 125cc!

It starts from Prague to arrive in the charming city of ULAN BATOOR in Mongolia, to then cross over to Ulan Ude in Russia where the journey ends definitively.

The rules of the Rally are simple and quick to learn ...

1. The chosen vehicle must have a maximum displacement of 1.2 liters, in the case of a motorcycle preferably a scuter of max 125cc

2. You are completely alone, you decide the route

3. At least £ 1000 must be raised for charity, £ 500 of which to be donated to CoolEarth.org, an organization that protects rainforests through programs developed with indigenous peoples, and the rest to a project identified by the Team.

The Genghis Vespa Team, composed of myself, will participate in the 2022 edition in a Vespa 125, has chosen to support "Plastic Free Odv Onlus a voluntary association born on July 29, 2019 with the aim of informing and sensitize as many people as possible about the dangers of plastic, in particular disposable plastic, which not only pollutes but also kills. Plastic Free has over 150 million users and today, with over 300 referents throughout Italy and with more than 200,000km of plastic collected in Italy.

The reason for choosing this Association, of which I am a referent, lies in the fact that in many trips around the world, even in most exotic and distant places, a constant has been the pollution of plastic in the sea and land.

Because I could go on holiday to Bali but I think that following me in this adventure will be much more fun and interesting for you! You will surely have a lot more fun watching my videos on YouTube in preparation for the Mongol Rally than some heartbreaking soap opera!

Because every year, thanks to the teams participating in this initiative, more than half a million euros are raised, all for charity!

Because even if I don't have much experience in terms of mechanics and engines, I am sure that thanks to your support and that of the people I will meet on the way to Mongolia I will be able to complete this quest on a 125cc Vespa!
