Generous Hearts For Underserved Children

Back when I was still in college, the socio-civic organization in which I was a member in throw a yearly Christmas party dedicated to the so-called Sampaguita Kids -- a number of children that roam around our university where they daily sell Sampaguita (Jasmine flowers beaded on a piece of string) to either fund for their allowance for school or for their family's expenses. My religious group also did the same kind of thing to other kids wherein my mates and I would pitch-in a fraction of our own allowances to be able to purchase stuff which we would then portion into loot bags along with some school supplies for kids living along the nearby railroad.

Now that the Christmas season is fast approaching, I would want to start raising funds for these street children in my town where I now live to continue and expand the good tradition that my organization inculcated in me as well as for those that I left in my university's town.

Help me in continuing this and take part in giving these kids a merrier christmas! :)
