Thank you to all who reached out to make a meaningful contribution to our IDF soldiers! This fund is for consolidating your donations to purchase personalized gear for soldiers in an elite reconnaissance team of the Paratroopers Brigade. This team of 30 young men have a grueling 15-month training period—one of the toughest in the army. The Paratroopers Brigade and its reconnaissance teams are 100% volunteer—these soldiers chose this difficult and perilous path out of love for their country and a desire to serve.
Any funds gathered beyond the cost of the gear will help sponsor a celebratory lunch for the soldiers as they finish their masa kumta or beret march, which marks the end of their first seven months of training (basic and advanced) and their official entry into the brigade. For this team, that means another eight months of commando training. The march is a 55 km hike in full gear with an added 30% body weight, carrying stretchers for the final kilometers. Please note that this is a private initiative not affiliated with any charity.
Every dollar is appreciated and will go directly to helping this team!
