GCU exchange program in UK fund

Hello! This is Manar, I've made this campaign to raise money to allow me to study abroad in an exchange program for one semester abroad at Glasgow Caledonian University in the UK.

This is my story:

Hello World! I am a junior computer science student at Nile University in Egypt currently studying with a full merit-based scholarship. Although I received a merit-based scholarship to study on campus at Nile University, sadly this scholarship does not cover my costs to study abroad in the UK, as I've got nominated by my University "Nile University" and accepted from GCU to take the upcoming fall 2022 at GCU.

I would like to share a bit about myself and some of the things I have achieved so far in my academic career. I am an ambitious person who is always working on developing herself by learning more and more, joining courses, and science fairs, and improving my skills to match those needed. I’ve worked on myself till I got the chance for internships in many great companies including multinational, national, and research centers. Over the years, I have received many awards and have been selected to represent Egypt in the USA at the ISWEEEP competition. All of these events formed part of the journey I have undertaken and they have made me become a determined and hard-working person who never gives up on her dreams.

In 2019, I received a scholarship from Nile University to continue what I had started researching in high school through science fairs and competitions in and outside Egypt. This scholarship is in a prestigious research university in Egypt with a low acceptance rate. I've chosen the biomedical informatics major in computer science to combine the knowledge I’m learning in biology and medical subjects with the new technologies in computer science and programming. Now, I am working on some projects and research for my study in this major. I wish that one day we can upgrade the medical services and medical research through the ideas and projects that I am currently working on with my team in the bioinformatics field.

At present, I have been nominated by my university “Nile University” as one of the top students, to take the opportunity to go for one semester abroad at GCU after a highly competitive filtration process and I need this funding to cover the expenses. Support my ambition.
