Gauteng Choristers is a registered Non-Profit company in terms of the Companies Act, 2008. The company was established in 18 April 1998 for the development of choral music and related activities. Since inception, we have developed our brand into a cornerstone within the genre through an endless list of awards, an indisputable reputation and a remarkable record of accomplishments. Built on the foundation of being a centre of excellence in choral and operatic singing way back in April of 1998.
In a continued effort of being a pioneering brand the Gauteng Choristers will be presenting two Cantatas by South African Composers Ihubo 47 written by Qinisela Sibisi and Zizi Lethu! Themba Lethu! by Phelelani Mnomiya, the works will be performed on the 20th and the 21st of March 2020 respectively. To successfully deliver this project, we require support in the form of a cash injection.
Most of our Choristers are unemployed youth that travel to far out places after the rehearsals i.e Soweto, Katlehong and Pretoria thus choir management needs to ensure safe transportation for our Choristers. To this effect our biggest Operating Cost during preparation for projects is Transportation, we humbly request you to partner with us in ensuring that we deliver quality music for our audiences. We believe that your contribution will not only go towards the choir but to the society at large as we aim to unite South Africans through music and the cultural experience that such projects create.
We appreciate your contribution to the Arts!
