Warn Winter Clothes for Gaza Children – Smile Medical Team & OpTv

Dear Friends,

The Palestinian people in Gaza are facing the most difficult stages of life from war and occupation.

In light of the ongoing siege on Gaza, US aid cuts to UNRWA this year have compounded the already extreme poverty that Palestinian families are forced to endure. Their pain is compounded by winter cold and a lack of Humanitarian aid.

UN announced Gaza is "unlivable," this year. With daily electrical outages and no heaters to keep them warm, poor children must suffer the elements, unprotected. According to the Ministry of Health, Gaza hospitals are still drained of supplies. Smile Medical Team of volunteer Medics, treat Gaza's children who are sick with cancer. They see the conditions of Gaza's poorest families, first hand, through their medical volunteer work.

Due to your generous donations, our last campaign was a success. With your help, Smile Medical Team (SMT) was able.to purchase Emergency Medical Supplies to continue administering First Aid at the Great Return March demonstrations.

We decided to run another campaign to enable SMT to buy warm winter clothes for 70 of Gaza's sick and poor children, this year. A small donation from you, will help us warm these children, protect them from the cold and draw a smile to their faces!

Your donations will be received by Meta Nutrients international foundation and forwarded to Smile Medical Team. There will be an electronic record of all transactions and transparent accountability.

We will provide photos of the children receiving their new winter clothes, after the campaign ends on December 23rd.
